The Gates of Horn

As I have mentioned before I intend to focus the future articles on this site towards the interests of those who actually supported the site with their Pay Pal contributions. The major interests of those people are: Metaphysics, Magick, Spirituality and Alternative Medicine. For politics and social commentary please go elsewhere. I’ve paid my dues in those areas, often being a couple of years ahead of the media and therefore ignored.

It is a common complaint among various pagans, Buddhists, Hindus, Wiccans, Muslims and New Agers that whenever the U.S. media mentions "religion" it always refers to Christianity as though that's all there is. Even the existence of other major religions has been erased from much of the public mind unless you count Muslim extremists, as a religious group.

While I am still deciding what to do on the blog site I shall post articles that are most likely to appeal to the people who actively supported the site, some of whom I have queried about their interests.

Now we are coming up to the time of New Year's Resolutions, which almost everyone seems to regard as matters of will power. And most are happy to make them as conversation pieces, while being sure they won't be able to keep them.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a song almost as likely to be heard this time of year as I’m dreaming of a White Christmas. Like all songs it has a little story and some trivia associated with it. Here is the modern story, and we’ll try and pull in some ancient stuff at the end to connect Rudolph with the far past.
