We are in our eighth year of conflict in Afghanistan now in October 2009 and almost nobody I talk to remembers much about how it started, or why we would still be there spending billions of dollars on our credit card with China. Just as a little memory jog here is the little article I wrote for the Tid-Bits metaphysical newsletter in April 2002, just after dealing with my taxes. People who don’t or won’t know history just keep making the same mistakes. Remember that nobody has ever conquered Afghanistan. Alexander the Great couldn’t do it.
