I have had the great pleasure, as a Reiki and Dar’ Shem Master in two lineages, of helping quite a few dozens of students of different magicks into the realm of energy healing through the Usui Reiki and Dar’Shem ladder, from the First Degree through Master Teacher for Usui and from Zelator to Philosophus for Dar’ Shem.

As I have mentioned before I intend to focus the future articles on this site towards the interests of those who actually supported the site with their Pay Pal contributions. The major interests of those people are: Metaphysics, Magick, Spirituality and Alternative Medicine. For politics and social commentary please go elsewhere. I’ve paid my dues in those areas, often being a couple of years ahead of the media and therefore ignored.

This is a re-run of a popular November 2006 article because of the imminent arrival of the movie this week of the Half Blood Prince. The article was written before the publishing of the last book in 2007 and I have left the speculations in that I made at the time.

Any magician can use the material in the Harry Potter books, though the visual results are not Hollywood fireworks but changes of conscious state, which is the aim of spells. Here we go.
