Bo Lozoff together with Ram Dass founded the Prison Ashram Project and has visited more than 1100 prisons showing prisoners that they can be inwardly free. He estimates that 80% of the convicts he has met should not be in prison. He wrote the book We are all doing Time which I can recommend highly.
